The Park anniversary event was titled: “30 Years of Magic”. The work kit includes (all elements never used or opened). (1) ball point pen. (1) Cast member ID sleeve holder. Disneyland – 35th Anniversary Cast Member Letterman style Jacket. The Company D store was only available for Disney Cast Members. This rare mid century themed jacket celebrated Disneyland’s 35th Anniversary July, 17, 1990. Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955, this jacket represents the family graffic Disney used advertising in the 1950’s and 1960’s. This great Letterman style jacket is gray with white leather sleeves size medium. The jacket has some normal wear and aging. However, it is in Very Good condition. The product is a rare and exclusive Commemorative Replica of Disneyland’s original 1955 Cast Member Badge. It was created to celebrate the park’s 40th Anniversary. This is a faithful brass and copper replica of the original anonymous numbered badges worn by Cast Members from opening day in 1955 through 1962. It is a Large three-dimensional polished brass badge with a broach-style straight pin back. Featuring the famous theme parks oval badge outline, the 2-1/2″x1-1/2″ badge has 28 recessed stamped flowers around the edge and features the iconic Disneyland named recessed stamped in the center. These are filled with the original “Disney Chroma-Blue” enamel. A smaller 3/4″ polished brass oval, recessed stamped with “1955 and also filled with chroma blue, is centered and attached below the name Disneyland. Attached to the center top, and rising just above the crown of the oval badge, is a 3/4″ diameter, gold-finished cast logo of the famous Disney “D imposed over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. Original employees at Disneyland did not have their names on their badges. Just their an anonymous number. It was not until 1962 that employees began having their names on the badges. This pin holds a special significance for Disney collectors and enthusiasts, making it a unique addition to any Disneyana collection. Includes the original commemorative tin featuring a collage of historic Disneyland name tags.
