Disney 50th Anniversary Commemorative Ticket # 0254 Commemorating the park from 1955 – 2005. This amazing piece of Disney memorabilia is in a gold colored slide case. The 3 dimensional ticket measures 15 1/4″ x 10 5/8″ x 5/8 The actual ticket is a 1 day Park Hopper Ticket. The button still works you just need to long press it. It plays Walt Disney’s opening day speech from the dedication on July 17, 1955. It says: To all who come to this happy place, Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Age relives fond memories of the past… And youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America… With the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world. The card is 3d and Pulling the ticket up from its sleeve gently allows Tinkerbell to fly over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle as viewed from Main Street, pushing it down reverses the effect. Ticket is still valid. The golden sleeve has some dents from years of storage the inside card/ticket is very fine plus / near mint minus. This is a great piece of memorabilia and a great addition to any collection.
