5 additional sets of Disneyland 100th Anniversary Medallions were added on Friday, August 11th. These 5 sets replaced existing sets that were on-stage and for sale at the Grand California Hotel, Pieces of 8 gift shop in Disneyland, Bing Bong gift shop in Disney California Adventure and the two machines in Downtown Disney at the huge World of Disney gift shop. The 5 sets replaced are now retired and no longer available at the part. If you have been collecting these medallions from Disneyland these 5 new sets bring the total at Disneyland to 68. (17 sets of 4). 12 sets are still for sale at the parks throughout Disneyland, California Adventure, Downtown Disney and the 3 resort hotels. These sets were retired in January 2024. This set was very difficult to put together. On the average, it takes about 4 boxes to make one set. There are also certain numbers that were short printed making this set very rare. Also included is a complete 40th Disneyland card set. The cards all have a unique number out of 41 total cards. They are not from a pack that has the same number 90,000.
