Disney Disneyland 45th anniversary Snowglobe Main Street LE in BOX RARE! WALT DISNEY Snowglobe 75 Years of Love and Laughter Disneyland Convention 1998. (See ABOUT ME for grading use and terms). This is a limited edition snow globe created in commemoration of the 45th anniversary of Disneyland in 2000. The base features a great representation of Main Street with the train circled around the buildings and an opening that reveals Mickey in the center on a fire engine. The train was not designed to actually move around the snow globe mechanically, but the music still plays “Mickey Mouse March”. There is a battery operated switch that I believe motorizes the snow, but it does not appear to work. The snow globe measures about 10″ x 10″ x 7 and is numbered on the plaque on the front of the base. A Fine Example Of A Great Collectible. Rare 45th Anniversary Main Street Snowglobe Disneyland 45th Anniversary. Numer 208 out of 1955. As you can see its mainstreet with a train around the edge. Inside Mainstreet is the snowglobe which features Mickey Mouse as a fireman in his Fire Engine, there is a train going around the outside, this train DOES NOT move on its own and never was meant to. You can move it in one piece around the globe but its not the easiest thing so I just leave it alone. The globe lights up, there is an on off switch on the side. Wind it up and it plays Mickey Mouse March. This comes with the COA which is signed. Winds fine and plays. Not sure if normal but once the winder gets towards the end it stops but if you give the winder a nudge it plays a little more. I think its normal as its just wound down. This is an older snowglobe and was quite dusty. You can take this to any clock shop and they will take it apart and clean out the inside and oil whatever etc and its not expensive to do.
